Thanks Anne!

Well I haven’t updated this site for a loooooooong while and that’s pretty much because I don’t have anything going on with sims writing at the moment. I haven’t thought of doing anything with Echo in such a long time. But my lovely friend Anne recently did such a cool sims album for my birthday that I decided to make an Echo ‘goodie bag’ for her :)

No it isn’t exactly the epilogue I was going to write all those many months ago.. but it is the ending Addison and Elijah had in my game. Of sorts.

In the story, Addison and Elijah never did get married but in my game Elijah does in fact make an honest woman out of her. *cue cheesy photo*

And they even had friends and family come to their special day. Sal and Denise were bridesmaids (though Denise refused to wear an identical dress and instead called in a French designer to make her ‘something special’).
Matt baked the wedding cake which he later assured everyone that it had been a three topped coconut with purple frosting one (as Addison ate most of it herself people did wonder if their had really been a cake at all…). This was the first sign that she was expecting.
Ardente was invited (Elijah wanted him to be his best man) but after careful consideration he decided he’d rather visit a still very angry Dirigen than watch Elijah and Addison saying vows of love to each other. His feelings for Elijah have sadly never changed, he is as much as ever in love with him.
Addison’s mother was very disgruntled that the couple decided to get married on a beach instead of inside a church (“like all normal couples”) but even she shed a few tears as her little one came out dressed all in white, arm in arm with her father who walked her down the beach.

These were their vows (which they wrote themselves) ;)

Elijah:
Addison, before I met you I believed my life had to be without love or joy or all those things that make life worth living. As a Vivo it was my duty and my purpose to always live without. And it would have remained this way for as long as my master wished me to serve him; right until the inevitable day when he would decide to remake his Vivo. But you remade me first. As I look into your crimson eyes, I see every feeling I had hitherto thought impossible for me to know and all of which I now feel I could never again live without.

Addison:
I wrote you a poem *smiles sheepishly*
My whole life has been lived in Neverland where,
I believed in witches and fairies and ghosts in the night.
Dreams were my firm reality,
the impossible always right there in my sight.

Then I met you and for the first time,
I felt I was truly dreaming.
Like an echo I thought you must eventually fade.
Your smile couldn’t be true, nor your eyes gleaming.

But if this isn’t real
then to this I appeal:
Never wake me my love,
because some dreams,
should never be woken from.

Also, here are the family trees of the main characters of the series. It isn’t how it would have read in the epilogue but it’s the children they have had in my game. (click on the images to see the names clearer)

The Marley Family

The Hayes Family

The Bells Family

Thanks again Anne :)
